Alright, got a few announcements to make... and no, it's not about me going back to Georgia anytime soon or anything like that. To some of you, these may not even be that important, but I'll tell you anyway!

So I've gotten myself my very own laptop. Later on it'll be used for school purposes, but for right now it's purely for recreation. I'm actually using it to type up this journal right now. It might as well double as a gaming laptop since it has 3G of RAM and a 350G memory capacity. It runs pretty well too. Yes, it's a Vista, but since this is a newer laptop than my dad's is, I guess this version of Vista is less buggy. Also helps that my laptop is running on 3 gigs of RAM as opposed to... whatever my dad's laptop is. I'm guessing that his only runs on one gig.

And on July 10th, =Kiyi-chan will be visiting me for a month. I'm very excited about this! July 10th isn't so far away, after all! Yeah, sure I'll have work and classes still, but it'd be nice to come home after a long day and see her. :heart:

But yeah. I guess that's about it. I'll see about getting Steam up and running on the laptop even though I haven't tested out the graphics card's full capabilities yet.

Here's a bit of info about me:

-I'm generally a nice person.

-I'm a casual female gamer. I was a hardcore gamer back when I was younger, however.

-I love Team Fortress 2. I don't get to play it so much anymore because of work/other things, but when I do get to play, I enjoy every minute of it. :>

-My favourite movie genres are Science Fiction and Comedy. I also like musicals, to a degree.

-My favourite literary genres would have to be Sci-fi, Fantasy, and Murder/Mystery. I also enjoy historical fiction and other thrillers.

-My iPod's playlist contains mostly 80s songs. I don't like today's music very much, mainly because I can't stand rap and hip-hop, and that seems to be the only genres surviving in this day and age.

-I'm a fan of the Pokemon games, if that wasn't obvious. My two absolute favourite Pokemon are Espeon and Umbreon.

Well... I guess that's really it for basic stuff. If you talk with me, you'll figure out a lot more about me on your own. Don't worry, I don't bite. ^^
